After following the steps from this article to embed an Excel Online workbook into your project, it is possible that you get the "onedrive.live.com refused to connect" error message while viewing your project on Maven Showcase.

The "onedrive.live.com refused to connect error" appears when the following conditions are met:

  1. You are signed in to OneDrive in your web browser

  2. You are trying to visualize your project on the Maven Analytics website in the same web browser.

PRO TIP: You can verify that your project is visible to the wider audience by trying to view your project from an incognito session.

To solve the "onedrive.live.com refused to connect error", please follow these steps:

  1. Click on your profile picture at the top right of the page, and select "Sign out"

3 - Go back to your project on Maven Showcase. The project link should have the following pattern: https://www.mavenanalytics.io/project/#####

4 - Refresh the project page


Your project should now be displayed correctly πŸŽ‰
