Many companies will pay for employee training, including online courses. Self-paced training is a flexible, cost-effective way to build specific skills on your own schedule.
Here's how we'd recommend asking your company to pay for Maven Pro:
Prepare a simple cost estimate based on how long you plan to use Maven.
Compare the cost with "traditional" options like bootcamps, degree programs or corporate workshops (which typically cost thousands of dollars).
Explain how the skills you'll build will move your career forward, improve your productivity, and help the company as a whole.
If you aren't sure about your company's training policies, ask your manager or HR department. It can't hurt to ask!
If your team wants to learn too
If several people at your company want to learn, your company may prefer a Teams or Enterprise plan. These include admin tools, team reporting and SkillSight. Enterprise agreements can also be paid by invoice. See Pro, Teams and Enterprise: what's the difference?
If you already have a personal Pro subscription, it stays yours when you join a team account.
Remember, we also offer a Free plan (no credit card required), so your manager can try the platform before buying.
